Teams and Workspaces

Teams and workspaces control organization and access.

Teams

A team is the top-level organization. Team settings and team members apply across the workspaces owned by that team.

Use teams to separate organizations, clients, products, or billing boundaries.

Workspaces

A workspace belongs to a team. Forms, respondents, workspace members, and submissions are organized by workspace.

Use workspaces to separate projects, departments, campaigns, or environments inside one team.

Switching Team or Workspace

  1. Open the selector in the sidebar.
  2. Choose a team.
  3. Choose a workspace from that team.

When you switch teams, the active workspace resets until you choose a workspace in the new team.

Create a Team

  1. Open the team selector.
  2. Choose the create-team action.
  3. Enter a team name and slug.
  4. Save.

The creator becomes the team owner.

Create a Workspace

  1. Select the team that should own the workspace.
  2. Open the workspace selector.
  3. Choose the create-workspace action.
  4. Enter a workspace name, slug, and optional description.
  5. Save.

The creator becomes a workspace admin.

Team Settings

Open Settings > Team Settings to update the current team's basic settings.

Team owners can delete the current team. Deleting a team removes its workspaces and related data.

Team Members

Open Settings > Team Members to manage team membership.

Team roles:

  • Owner: full control, including destructive team actions
  • Admin: team administration without ownership transfer semantics
  • Member: normal team access

You can invite existing users by email, update roles, and remove team members. The last owner cannot be removed or downgraded.

Workspace Settings

Open Settings > Workspace Settings to update the current workspace name, description, and settings.

Workspace admins can delete the workspace. Deleting a workspace removes its forms and submissions.

Workspace Members

Open Settings > Workspace Members to manage workspace-level access.

Workspace roles:

  • Admin: manage workspace, members, forms, and submissions
  • Editor: create and edit forms, view and export submissions
  • Viewer: view forms and submissions

The last workspace admin cannot be removed or downgraded.
